Games are held in Johnstone Park, Alva. Car parking is in the adjacent Cochrane Park.

Travelling from the South
Following signs for Stirling & coming on either the M9 from Edinburgh or from Glasgow on the M80 exit at Junction 9 (Stirling Services) and follow the A91 (signed for Stirling and then St. Andrews) through 5 roundabouts remaining on the A91 all the way. After the 5th roundabout you will have the Wallace Monument on your left. After roundabout 6 when the Wallace Monument and Stirling University are both signposted (B998) to the left keep on the A91. Pass through the villages of Blairlogie and Menstrie and after two further miles you will arrive in Alva. Parking for the games is on your left (signposted) in the Cochrane Park, 500 metres into the town, immediately after the Cochrane Hall.
From the North
Travelling south on the A9, arrive at Keir Roundabout between Dunblane and Bridge of Allan and follow the A9 signposted for Bridge of Allan. After Stirling University proceed straight on to the A907 (Alloa) and then left on to the A91 (St Andrews) when the Wallace Monument will be on your left. Follow directions above as from Blairlogie.
Please note that, in spite of its name, there is no vehicle access to the car park from Park Street - the entrance is on the main A91, Stirling Road at the Cochrane Hall. It is sign posted on the day.
BY RAIL
Most convenient rail station is at Stirling (6 miles) with regular trains from Glasgow Queen Street Station (minimum of 3 per hour), Edinburgh (usually 2 per hour) and from Perth, Dundee and Aberdeen (at least 1 per hour). Details can be found on the Scotrail website. A less frequent service operates to and from Inverness and even three a day to and from London Kings Cross!! Thereafter by bus (see below) or taxi.
BY BUS
From Stirling Bus Station (turn left from the Rail Station or cross the road at the station to the bus stops on the other side of the street) take McGill's Midland Bluebird Service Number 52 (Alloa via Tillicoultry) and ask for Alva. The journey takes about 25 minutes. During the day, there are 2 buses per hour with this service. The bus stop AFTER the Cochrane Park/Hall stop is nearest to the main gates. Return to Stirling with the same service, Please note that Service 52 no longer operates via the Stirling University Campus but will drop off or pick up from the rear entrance to the Campus, underneath the National Wallace Monument. Current services may be subject to alteration from time to time, so please check.
