It is with great sadness that the Games Committee has to intimate that our longest serving individual sponsor, Robert Snaddon of Tillicoultry, passed away on Friday 17th November. He has been the sponsor of the De'il tak the Hindmost cycle race, an event in which the winner's trophy carries his name, for over four decades and he was a keen and enthusiastic supporter of and and attender at the Games. He was above all a man who was generous of spirit, kind to all who met him and, in an age when there seem to be fewer and fewer of them, a real gentleman.

Our thoughts and sympathies are extended to all his family and friends at this difficult time.
