At the recent AGM, the Committee agreed to introduce a new Junior Heavyweight Competition. This has been trialled at a number of Games for a few seasons and has been well attended and well received. Securing the future of the Games is vital and this is a sure way of achieving that.

There are four disciplines - Shot Putt, Hammer, Weight for Distance and Caber, all modified for the youngsters to use safely. Prizes will be available for the first six contestants and we are all looking forward to welcoming them to the Johnstone Park in July. Competition will start at 10.30am prompt.
