Well, they have only gone and done it again. Winners of the inaugural Shop Window Competition in 2006 - and a few more after that too - Nicols Opticians in West Stirling Street were the unanimous choice of the judges this morning as they appraised the windows of the shops which took part this year.
The brightness and colour of the display were outstanding as can be seen from the attached image and the inclusion of the image of Eric Liddell winning - from the Chariots of Fire film - showed a clever degree of imagination.
More images of the other entrants windows and the Awards Presentation will appear on here later in the week. Presentation of the Alva Games Cup will take place at 11am on Thursday 11th July at Nicols premises.
