At the Annual General Meeting held earlier tonight, the Committee decided unanimously to proceed with the organisation of the re-arranged 164th Games to be held on Saturday 9th July 2022. Although there are still some unresolved factors to be clarified over the next few months, all agreed that, barring a reversal of Covid relaxations, it ought now to be possible to hold a Games in a manner as near as possible to years gone by.

 

There is much yet to be done but Games Chairman. James Sharp said that he was delighted that we could now look forward positively to next July and hoped that there would be a spectacular return for the Games last held in the summer of 2019. With the recent hugely successful return of the monthly Prize Bingo Teas, it was beginning to look a lot like normality has returned.
