Sixty bingo fans attended the last monthly prize bingo tea of the season last night. This was the best turnout of the whole year and the amount raised reached a new record. The overall amount raised during the run exceeded £2,000 for the first time. This provides invaluable financial support to the Games.

A huge thanks is due to all who have come along since September and especially to Hazel, Isobel and Jeanette for the provision of top quality sandwiches and baking on every evening, to Mary and Nan as always for their unfailing support and to everyone else who has helped - including the often unseen kitchen crew - for all of the assistance given freely every month.

The first bingo tea of the 2011 - 2012 run will be held on Wednesday 28th September 2011 at 7.30pm in the same venue. There will be another special hamper on offer in the raffle and if the same numbers come along as last night early arrival will be necessary to ensure a good seat.,
