The final bingo tea of the season was held on Wednesday 25th June 2008 at 7.30pm in St. John Vianney Church Hall, East Stirling Street, Alva. A superb crowd was in attendance and the sum raised was the best since the equivalent evening in 1998.

A huge thank you was extended to all by Games Secretary, Craig Dunbar, who was delighted to be able to tell the assembly that the 2007-2008 season had been the best on record and that these evenings continued to provide the games with the largest single source of regular income during the year. Particular thanks to Mary, Nan, Isobel and Ina for all the work done throughout the year.

Forward diary date - next Bingo Tea is on Wednesday 24th September at 7.30pm in the same venue.

PS - The strawberry tarts were quite good too!!!
