The Games Committee is delighted to announce that our Guest of Honour for 2008 will be Clackmannanshire Citizen of the Year, Roy Ramage. He will be joining the President and Chairman for lunch and then perform the opening ceremony at 1pm. Alva resident Roy is former head teacher of Tillicoultry Primary School and has a life time record of public service both in and out of his working career. He was latterly a Depute Lord Lieutenant of the County and has been attending the games for well over half a century. He is a keen supporter of Alloa Athletic FC and is steeped in the sporting traditions of the county. We would like to thank him for accepting our invitation and wish him an enjoyable and memorable day with us.
