For all competitors and visitors to this year's Games, please note that Public car parking will be on the old Alva Academy Site to the east of Queen Street. Only officials and other invited guests will have access to the traditional car park in Cochrane Park and that will be by ticket only.

Queen Street will be signed on the day but is easy to find. It runs north (towards the hills) from the main road at the junction where The Royal Bank, Master Chef, Bollinis and the dry cleaners have their shops. Access to the car park site will be directed from there.

Visiting buses should still park behind the former Mill Trail Visitor Centre (now Flying Fox Bikes) on the north side of the main road (Stirling Street) using the entrance signed "Alva Parklands".
