The Annual General Meeting of the Alva Games Committee took place on Sunday 31st October 2010 at 7.15pm in St. John Vianney Church Hall, East Stirling Street, Alva.

All expressed their disappointment at the weather in July and at the effect this had had on the attendance but were nonetheless pleased that those who came along had enjoyed a great day's sport and entertainment in spite of the damp conditions. Thanks were expressed to everyone who had contributed in any way to making the day what it had been and all resolved to work hard towards making the 2011 games bigger and better. The downturn in numbers had resulted in the biggest loss for the games since 2001 which all agreed meant would require harder work on the part of everyone to ensure an early start to fundraising for 2011.

The present committee was re-elected unopposed.
