Well, we were truly back yesterday with what was the most successful Games in recent memory. 89 runners in the Championship Hill Race, 28 in the Under 12 version, 153 dancers from across the globe, an international field of heavyweight athletes and track runners and the best grass track cyclists on the scene were joined by almost 5,000 of you from all points of the globe to enjoy over 6 hours of entertainment on a sun soaked Johnstone Park.
The trade stalls and fairground all added to the colour of the occasion with the musical backdrop provided, as always, by the Alloa Bowmar Pipe Band. Congratulations to all who took part and heartfelt thanks to everyone who made this event happen for the first time in 3 years, including the fantastic team who cleared up the arena this morning. You all know who you are and should be rightly proud of what you have achieved. Here is what the park looked like at midday today.
