Well, another record breaking night for the Prize Bingo. 67 people, many of whom were new to our evening but most welcome nonetheless, attended the pre Easter session in the Cochrane Hall. Fabulous prizes, lots of which were donated, were well spread around the Hall and we really can not remember seeing so many raffle tickets in the bags.
The splendid sum of £603.90 - assuming my arithmetic is up to it! - was raised and the Games Committee would like to extend to everyone involved their thanks for what is a record breaking sum for a March Bingo Tea. The lure of the extra Creme Egg was just too much!!
Three more such nights before the 165th Games. Next one is on Wednesday 26th April, the first one in the lighter Summer Time. Hope to see you all again then.
