Report from the Cochrane Hall
What a fantastic night tonight for the November prize bingo tea. On a surprisingly mild evening, just short of 60 Games' supporters turned to to try their luck at the ten games of regular bingo, the raffle and special Christmas raffle.
Fabulous home baking, sandwiches and an absolutely delicious lemon drizzle cake from the Number 71 Coffee House in the town all added to the overall enjoyment of the night. Thanks to all who provided the goodies and practical support before and on the night.
Our best total for some time of £470 was raised in support of next year's 164th Games and everyone who contributed to this should be duly proud of that achievement.
There is no prize bingo next month - there is something else happening on the fourth Wednesday of December - so we shall see you all again on Wednesday 22nd January. In the meantime we wish to wish all of our bingo supporters all the very best for the Festive Season.
