At tonight's Committee meeting, we decided to keep Alva at the forefront of Highland Games by introducing a new Female Heavyweight event to the programme. This will take place after the Juniors, but before the Open competition. There will be five individual disciplines and five prizes in each. We look forward to welcoming all of the competitors to the Johnstone Park in July.
