Cracking Start to the Prize Bingo Year

24th Jan 2024

What a cracking start to the 2024 Prize Bingo Season which took place tonight amid a most welcome lull in the storms from which we have all been suffering recently.

Nearly five dozen enthusiastic players descended upon the Cochrane Hall for the 7.30 start, the buzz of the games and the relaxation and chat before and after them and during the interval. This being Burns Week, we trialled freshly baked Haggis filled sausage rolls (along with the usual goodies) which seemed to go down well and, having road tested one just to ensure its acceptability, we can certainly say that they will be repeated next year.

Tonight's gross taking were £597.00 which is yet another fantastic sum for which the Games Committee is truly grateful. Thanks once again to everyone who made tonight such a success and we hope to see you all again at the next on on Wednesday 28th February. If you have not been before, you really do owe it to yourself to come along and see what you have been missing.
