The final bingo tea evening of 2013 season took place tonight in St John Vianney Church Hall. 60 prize seekers filled the Hall to capacity for a great night's entertainment. The assembled crowd were treated to extra games and of course the traditional summer strawberry tarts.
Games Secretary Craig Dunbar thanked all for their loyal attendance throughout the season and reminded the ladies in attendance that they still provide the single biggest source of income for the Games with £380 raised on the night and over £2,300 raised overall.
Thanks must go, as always, to every one who came along and to the ladies who provided the fresh home baking and the sandwiches and who have worked tirelessly throughout the year. So take a bow Mary, Nan, Isobel and Jeanette. Oh and better not forget Ina who pulls the whole thing together.
The next Prize Bingo will be held on September 25th. Eyes down at 7.30pm.
