The current session of the prize bingo tea evenings was brought to a close last night in the usual venue, again with a near capacity crowd of just under 60 filling the hall. With an extra flyer to play and the much anticipated strawberry tarts at half time the crowd had a bumper evening of entertainment. Over £370 was raised towards the costs of the 2014 Games, so for the first time the total for the season exceeded the magic figure of £3,000.00.. Well done to all.

Thanks, as always, to all who helped to make the evening go smoothly but also to all for their loyal attendance throughout the season, sometimes in fairly inclement weather. You are all a credit to Alva and the surrounding district.

Next bingo tea, the first of the new season, is on Wednesday 24th September 2014 at 7.30pm. There is however something else to attend on 12th July in the Johnstone Park so hope to see you all back at the Games.
