BBC Radio Scotland has announced that it will broadcast its "Main Event" programme live from the Games between 3pm and 5pm. Hosted by former Scotland rugby ace, John Beattie, the programme will feature a mixture of live commentaries, reports and interviews with competitors, official, guests and spectators as well as Alva Games heroes from the past. This will provide a fitting and welcome boost to this year's celebrations.
